Laptop motherboard is also known as a Main board or Main Printed Circuit Board (M PCB), Logic Board or System board. It is a thin, usually multilayer PCB that holds number of major components of the system, while providing connectors for additional peripheral components such HDD, CDROM, additional PCB’s etc. Word “Motherboard” commonly used for main PCB’s in computer systems, however, many appliances that surround us – televisions, computer monitors, DVD players, cell phones and so on, do have main boards as well. You can either mail your laptop and new replacement parts in or if you are in the Denver metro area feel free to stop by and your laptop motherboard repair or replacement won’t take more than 1-2 hours (depending on parts availability and office load).

The flat rate fee includes: all labor and complimentary FREE shipping back to you via UPS, and a 30 days warranty. Any rules we should be aware of?
Yes, the first one is if you don’t include your complete laptop with AC Power Adapter you won’t get any warranty or support from us. Second rule is: badly packaged laptops will be sent back to the owner without being worked on. Make sure to wrap your laptop in at least 2-3 inches of bubble wrap, and put it in the box with plenty of cushion or fluffy stuff. Please note: free boxes provided by United States Postal Service provide inadequate protection for your laptop.
Are there any extra charges?
There are no extra hidden fees or charges. If we don’t fix your laptop motherboard you don’t pay anything, not even for the shipping back to you.
Turn around times?
All laptops and parts received by Fedex or US Postal Service are fixed and sent back the same day as we receive your laptop. Because UPS delivers packages late in the day, all laptops received by UPS are out of here the next day. We provide the fastest turn around time in the industry, there isn’t a company out there that can match us.
Warranty?
We provide a 30 days warranty on all labor that we perform. All parts warranty is handled by part manufacturer or distributor. You are covered by the warranty for as long as you are using your device according to a manufacturer specified conditions, otherwise warranty is void.

We have multiple quantities of various laptop motherboard parts in stock at all times.
Do you repair Netbook, Minibook, Apple, Military, Rugged, Toughbook motherboards?
Yes and we provide FREE REPAIR ESTIMATE before any work is done, this way you know exactly what you are paying for and how much.
How much is the shipping usually?
To send laptop via UPS, it is usually about $15, depending on weight. If you ship your laptop to us we will ship fixed (repaired) unit back to you at our expense via UPS. Should you need your laptop ASAP, you can prepay the overnight shipping back to you.
How long does it take to replace a Motherboard on my system?
Average laptop motherboard replacement job lasts about 1-2 hours, depending on device. All work is done the same day since we have most common used parts in stock. (depending on parts availability)

Do you repair or do you replace laptop motherboard?
It all depends on type of problem and client wish; please refer to a common problems section ahead.
Do you need my hard drive?
We don’t need your hard drive. We encourage everyone to keep the hard at drive at safe place.
Do I need to send an AC adapter?
Yes, to test out your system we would prefer to have your original AC/DC power adapter, however if you are missing an AC DC adapter we still can work on it and test out your computer using our adapters.
Are you liable for anything that will happen with my laptop?
The amount of liability is limited to the amount of money we charge you, nothing more. If you do not agree with that, please do not send the system to us. If the system gets damaged on the way to us, please take it up with the shipper. Make sure to package the laptop and replacement board (if any) very well for the shipment.
What is the best way to pack a laptop for shipment?
Put at least two to three inches of a bubble wrap around it, put it in the box, put an AC DC adapter near by, if needed, but not on top of the LCD screen. As soon as we get it we will work on it and send it back to you (usually within 24 hours).

Spilled liquid
If you happened to have spilled liquid like soda, vine, coffee, tea, mineral water or similar on your laptop, you need to act fast. Here are some tips on what to do in such case:
- • Turn off your laptop immediately
- • Take out battery ASAP
- • Flip laptop over so excessive liquid will not soak inside your laptop
- • Do not turn on your laptop after visible signs of liquid have disappeared, because inside of computer, liquid still may not dry out and even when it dries out salt formations, that appear during conductor oxidation process can conduct electric current and thus cause short circuit, which in turn will damage internal components and render your computer inoperable.
- • Eboxlab strongly suggests taking your laptop to a professional laptop repair center to fix results of spillage.
