Commenting on the recent rumors that Korea-based Samsung Electronics will stop producing 10.1-inch netbooks in the first quarter of 2012, leaving the netbook market to the top-2 players Acer and Asustek, Acer vice president Scott Lin pointed out that Acer will not give up the netbook market.

Although Samsung may be leaving the netbook market to seek its fortunes elsewhere, Acer has absolutely no intention of ditching the still lucrative space. read more
